It all started back in 2001 when I was just 10 years old – there was a new game out, you might’ve heard of it – RuneScape. Myself and my brother were massive fans of the game and we setup what is known as a ‘clan’ where people team together and support each-other to progress in the game and battle with other clans and players. We instantly though that our clan required a website to help it stand out from the rest. The website quickly evolved into a online directory and guide for not only clan members, but other RuneScape players to turn to for assistance and guidance playing the online game.

Through-out the years I continued to have an interest in creating fansites for various online games and in 2007 I started what was going to be the start of a new beginning, I attended College to begin studying IT & Software Development for 3 years and further developed my knowledge and skillset for web development and was chosen by the Software Development course lecturer to build a website for a local business to help gain experience. This was a highly positive task which built confidence and allowed me to get an insight to the types of websites that can be built. In 2010 I started studying Computer Science / Computing & Information Systems at University where I excelled in course modules such as Web Authoring and Web Development.
